As patrons of Oldham-based charity, Mahdlo, we’re always keen to promote their outstanding work providing opportunities for children and young adults, and to support the cause whenever possible.
Therefore, we were thrilled to assist them in their efforts by attending their ‘jungle themed’ ball on Saturday 10th February which was held at their youth zone facility on Egerton Street.
It was a fantastic and very humbling evening and our table alone raised over £3,000.00 for the charity.
Another fantastic local cause that we are thrilled to support for the first time this year is The Kingfisher Special School, which is holding its annual fundraising ball at the White Hart in Lydgate, on the 16th of March.
The ball has been running since 2007 and the past 14 events have seen over £120,000 raised to help support the school develop new facilities and resources for the pupils there.
Kingfisher is a primary school for children with severe and complex learning disabilities, with over 200 pupils attending.
Once again, we will be attending the event, and we are delighted that several clients are joining us to support this hugely important cause.
We’re incredibly passionate about our local focus, whether it’s clients, supporting fellow Oldham-based businesses, local sports teams or community causes. We’re proud to be part of this tight-knit community!
