We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve added three more teams to the stable of clubs that we support.
The first being Waterhead Warriors Rugby League Club which was founded in 1920 and boasts an unbelievable heritage. Especially given that it was responsible for bringing international stars such as Kevin Sinfield and Barrie McDermott to the fore.
We’ve also agreed to a sponsorship deal with Culcheth Eagles Rugby League. A number of our clients are associated with the club and we were more than happy to try and assist them in anticipation of the forthcoming league season.
We haven’t received the sample shirts yet, but the design is super-smart and we can’t wait to share how the finished article looks. And speaking of finished articles, fingers crossed for a future superstar to come through having played with the M & C name across their chest!
And moving from the egg-shaped ball to the round one, we’re also delighted to announce that we’ve just signed up as a ‘Blue Friend’ of Oldham Athletic Community Trust (OACT). OACT is a registered charity and engages with an estimated 55,000 people per season, supporting people of all ages within the local community.
It runs programmes that support young children wanting to learn football skills, community groups supporting older people, men’s and women’s fun football sessions, schools’ programmes which incorporate player visits, as well as providing awareness building activity for other local charities.
Tony Morris, Managing Director of M & C Risk Solutions, says: “We’re already avid fans of local clubs and causes, so we were delighted to support three such well-established teams in Waterhead Warriors, Culcheth Eagles and Oldham Athletic via their Community Trust. All are vital to their respective communities and it’s a privilege to be able to contribute to their continued success.”
Sarah Morris, Operations Director of M & C Risk Solutions says: “The clubs and causes we support, make Oldham and the surrounding district a better place to live. They bind local communities and provide an outlet for energy and enthusiasm, whether on or off the pitch! And their fans are every bit as passionate about their teams, as the fans are of any of the big names you see on TV. We love that about the teams we support and are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their stories.”
